rediscovering eden
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
whom shall i fear
whom shall i fear
i am yours
who am i

DAY 5 : TUSCANY - VENICECan't remember much of today other than Venetian masks, gondolas and loads of smelly water...
The ride to Venice took up our morning. We're just in time to catch the noon boat to Venice.
So cool right?Weather is hot today! Lots of sun and little wind. For the 1st time during this holiday, I was perspiring.
The thing that struck me was the insane number of people selling masks and scary (illegal) immigrants selling imitation Prada, Gucci bags etc. Apparently, the police don't bother to catch these people... only the idiots who buy from them -.-
Had lunch at a nice little restaurant... Delicious lasagna and tiramisu :D Then we went to take our obligatory gondola ride. It wasn't as fantastic as I thought but we did see some interesting stuff.
That's some of the nice people in my tour group...
Traffic jam wtf -.-We met our Venice guide at St. Mark's Square. She's one strict old lady who ends all her sentences with "Yes?"
For the 1st time in my life, I sort of witnessed a public demonstration in real life!! It's pretty funny though... apparently there are people really annoyed with the pigeons and they want them banished from the square while others are happy to have them around. They mean business too... there were like big black flags with skeleton heads being waved and stuff lol.
Er, those 4 bronze horses are actually stolen property ._.Ok, back to our tour of the square. We checked out the church and I'm totally impressed with all that bling bling! The entire ceiling is made of mosaic (famous Murano tiles with gold in them!) Can really blind people! I love the way she says "Gold is the color of divinity, not blue. Yes?"
Next, she brought us to this glass blowing factory (of the Murano glass people) to watch a master in action. I bought a cute little glass necklace here :)
We have some free time so we went mask shopping! So many pretty ones lo! Spent the most money today (so far).
Dinner was shitty Chinese food. Hardly ate. After dumping our bags, we ventured out to the neighborhood and found this very traditional Italian restaurant!
I ordered something totally alien... NUTELLA pizza!! (Italians pronounce it as nuu-tella) It's really just pizza crust + nutella only. Eat until @_@
Today is a happy day.
