rediscovering eden
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
whom shall i fear
whom shall i fear
i am yours
who am i

DAY 3 : ROME - SIENA - SAN GIMIGNANO - TUSCANYWoke up at 6am... Friggin' alarm, don't even know how to switch it off.
Zzzz.
Had a yummy breakfast and bidded farewell to our 390euros a night hotel.
Slept for the next 3 hours or so on the bus to Siena. There's this wide open space where they actually hold horse races (and they still do!) This is at the Piazza del Campo.
Siena - Piazza del CampoOur tour guide today shall be known as the Lady in Green (LIG). Her top, bottom, necklace, jacket... all GREEN! -.-
LIG is pretty good though, understood her a lot more than our Rome guide.
The STILL incomplete church...The people of Siena are a funny bunch. Looking at their new church (that will never be completed by the way), you can't help but feel bad that so much effort is wasted over the years to even get it so far.
And because the construction of the building took so bloody long, even the architectural style of the building varies in certain parts. (e.g. Roman doors vs Gothic windows -.-)
Frozen smile with Cathedral of St Dominic in the backgroundThen we checked out the Cathedral of St Dominic, a simple looking church really. The scary part was where LIG told us that Saint Catharine's skull and thumb are kept here and displayed wtf. Yea, I got to see them myself @_@
Siena is a lot colder than Rome... Each time there's a breeze.. brrrr :c
Yea! Avalon have expanded our operations to include F&B! lol~After we're done with Siena, it's a short ride to San Gimignano. Well, not much to remember about this place... There were little towers, lots of vineyards, the same narrow streets ._.
Boring.
........................................
At night (gosh it's still so bright at 8pm!), we made our way to Tuscany (!!) where we're going to spend 2 nights.
Our hotel is over a hundred years old but the decor is really pretty. The draperies, chandeliers and cute little sofas made it look super homely.
Flora Hotel... nice!
