rediscovering eden
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
whom shall i fear
whom shall i fear
i am yours
who am i

DAY 2 : ROMEReached Rome almost an hour late because of the delay at Bangkok airport.
The moment I got off the plane, I love Rome already! The cool breeze and clear blue skies = love.
Well, we were all chirpy until the disgustingly long wait at the immigration checkpoint totally pissed us off.
Oh well.
1st stop : ColosseumWe didn't enter it... It was more like loitering outside along its perimeter and taking pictures of anything and everything. The Colosseum looks really grand!
It's cool that they made an effort to preserve such beautiful historical monuments.
Arch of Constantine's VictoryA stone's throw away from the Colosseum... Don't ask me what's the history behind this thing.
Note : Yours truly is useless at Roman history!
A typical pizzeria in ItalyNext, we took a walk through Circus Maximus (a narrow street lined with little gelato stores, alfresco cafes etc). And yes, I fulfilled my dream of having gelato in Italy!!! The signboards actually say "gelati" not "gelato."
._.
Trevi FountainRight at the end of the street is the gorgeous Trevi Fountain!
[insert random historial trivia]
As with most Roman monuments so far, it's HUGE, PRETTY & decorated with tons of ANGELS + people in robes.
After that, it's shopping (window-shopping to be precise) at the Spanish Steps.

Gucci, Prada, Dior... you name it, they have it. Highlight was taking the Prada lift within the store itself! Oh, they have Bata here too. Wtf.

Bata ftw~

Lunch time!
Eeew~ it's Chinese food at some cheena restaurant that I won't even bother to name. The decor is as Chinese as it gets.
........................................
After lunch, we're off to the Vatican City. This is definitely the highlight of today!
Words and pictures even, can't describe the awe I felt when I entered the doors of the Church...
Woohoo~ The Vatican City!If there's a chance really, I don't mind staying in Rome. Despite the graffiti-ed walls and seemingly angry Italians, the beauty and weather of this place attracts me so.
:)
