DAY 13 : PARISToday is supposed to be a free day. However it's a Sunday which means there probably won't be any shops open at all (faint).
So most of us signed up for the optional tours and even the 'French dinner.'
The Louvre Museum!!This is seriously 1 of the highlights of my short stay in Paris! Not only do I get to see
THE painting of Mona Lisa, I also learnt so much about the various important art pieces in this gorgeous museum.
The short 2 hours or so spent here is really not enough! D:
Alexandre III Bridge - my favourite!Next we went for a scenic cruise on the River Seine!! There are 37 bridges along this river and the Alexandre III is the prettiest and my fav! Bridges in Singapore are so ugly compared to the ones here. >.<
Had a great time hanging out with the uncles and aunties from my tour group who took it upon themselves to take care of me since my buddy went off to explore on his own.
100% Original. Made in France.We got to see the Statue of Liberty too!! It's smaller than the one in New York and apparently the one in NY is a gift from the French. Lol?
Notre Dame!We visited the famous Church of Notre Dame in the afternoon! It's really huge and in gothic style I think. We got to tour the interior of the church as well... so pretty~~
Then, it's a short ride to Montmarte - streets lined with little souvenir shops and eateries. I had the most delicious banana + nutella crepe here <3
Had a little scare here... There were many of these black people trying to scam us tourists and for some reason they always approached me!! Gahhh~
FO_OD~Today's dinner is the best throughout my entire holiday! The starter alone took my breath away~ Crabs, oysters, escargot and prawns!!! And we have a bottle of red wine too :D
Foie gras + more escargotBy the time my main course arrived, I was already so full! Stuffed myself silly anyways once I saw that yummy salmon steak~ So happy today T_T
He looks like Jude Law right!!Took this cute pic with 1 of their waiters. Handsome ya? Lol.
