DAY 12 : DIJON - PARISThis morning's bus ride is like, the worst ever. As usual, we left the hotel early and the journey from Dijon to Paris took 4 hours!
Our 1st meal in Paris is Chinese food. Lol -___- Pretty weird if you ask me but I guess they wanted to cater to those old folks who just can't do without Chinese food.
After a quick lunch, we are off to see the Eiffel Tower!
._.vIt's really magnificent, especially when you look up at it from the foot of the tower! Took tons of pictures as our guide brought us to the 2nd floor of the tower.
The short, uniformity of the Parisian buildings...Then we were told that in Paris, there were actually restrictions on the height of buildings (cannot exceed 12 storeys). This actually means that the Eiffel Tower is illegal in a way!
Nice shot by our guide!We could have visited the famous Champs Elysees as well if not for George Bush. The entire street is cordoned off, wtf.
If all else fails, there's always shopping! Our kind guide dropped us at Galerie Lafayette where we spent our afternoon! Muahaha~
Well, I don't really have much to buy... Was aiming for LV bags only. Their store is SO SO CROWDED! As if the bags are free like that!! D:
Oh, there was this super cute sales dude there. Ahh~~ Anyway, I grabbed 2 cute bags - a monogram ecillipse and a alma in pink epi leather!! SUPREME GAYNESS! Hope they didn't lie when they said the other countries haven't got the color yet.
<3~~~After the tax deductions, the total damage was about 1,250 euros (~ 2,500 SGD). So happy!
A little disappointed in their Chanel store. The selection is so limited! Oh well, guess my 1st Chanel bag has to wait. Gucci is just blah. Maybe it's just me, not really their fan. No Prada here so too bad (was hoping to grab a fairy bag :c).
Was hoping to venture to the other malls but I'm so afraid of being mugged! Curse all those horror stories from the guide!
Well, that's pretty much it for my 1st day in Paris.
