Today is my last day as an AV Girl... T____T
Left Avalon just a while before the colony war. It's time to move on... The circumstances are rather similar to what went on at Godlike.
With the exodus of a number of core raiders and the general loss of interest and drive to keep the faction going, this is inevitable.
*sigh*
....................................
On a happier note, I created a bunch of new characters on a wimp. Welcome Battlecook Panfilo, Battlesmith Idge and Kurt to the Bandeau family!!
"I'll boil your bones!"The main reason I created JamieOliver (aka Battlecook) is because of his Low Guard stance! And this dude probably will be the strongest Low Guard user with 7 STR to his name - stock fighter only have 6 STR and I don't know anyone else who have this stance.
Well, I'll start training this new bunch when I'm in the mood for grinding... :)

SWAMP MERMAN EATER!!!
New boss mob in the Bahamas Maps... Really scary despite the seemingly low stats.
This meanie 1 hit KO-ed my poor Grace and she's wearing an EDC mind you T_T
You can't miss it...Evil spitter...He has this highly irritating debuff that slows you down a lot... not sure if it's similar to Enervation. And yes, he spits too. Lucky he used this really painful AOE only once just now.
Doesn't seem to drop anything other than chips (loads of it).
The pioneering memorial in Peril actually had a Merman Eater hunt. 50 of them for some measly Epic Glazium? No thanks -.-

Ah, today is the 1st Colony War after the v2.6 patch.
The funny thing is that they announce who is the person who did the last hit on the colony! And yours truly did it twice!! Only managed to get a screenshot of the 1st time though~
That's Narcissa, Ayesha and Angelica (in the blades -.-)Dumb font is back. And now, the world map is almost unreadable because they switched back to the old font which can't display ASCII codes.
-5:16 AM
This pretty boy is an extortionist!!! D:Grabbed my Rio Vicente the moment I finally finished patching. Haven't actually read up on all the v2.6 updates or even the forums lately so I was mighty annoyed when he said that.
Oh well, another cash rNPC.
After I whipped him...Anti-magic shell is still airborne after my 2 ladies came down. Lol.He's such a pretty face I named him Enrique, after Enrique Iglesias! At this moment, my new darling is turning lv 66 soon. I'm so excited over his Serenade stance! :D
Ok, time to read all those updates!

Woot! The one and probably only time I won Uraeus loot.Hehe, I won by default because everyone left the map at some point except me :x
Don't dare to anyhow click here...The items don't spill out or anything. They just appear in your inventory. Weird lol.

DAY 13 : PARISToday is supposed to be a free day. However it's a Sunday which means there probably won't be any shops open at all (faint).
So most of us signed up for the optional tours and even the 'French dinner.'
The Louvre Museum!!This is seriously 1 of the highlights of my short stay in Paris! Not only do I get to see
THE painting of Mona Lisa, I also learnt so much about the various important art pieces in this gorgeous museum.
The short 2 hours or so spent here is really not enough! D:
Alexandre III Bridge - my favourite!Next we went for a scenic cruise on the River Seine!! There are 37 bridges along this river and the Alexandre III is the prettiest and my fav! Bridges in Singapore are so ugly compared to the ones here. >.<
Had a great time hanging out with the uncles and aunties from my tour group who took it upon themselves to take care of me since my buddy went off to explore on his own.
100% Original. Made in France. We got to see the Statue of Liberty too!! It's smaller than the one in New York and apparently the one in NY is a gift from the French. Lol?
Notre Dame!We visited the famous Church of Notre Dame in the afternoon! It's really huge and in gothic style I think. We got to tour the interior of the church as well... so pretty~~
Then, it's a short ride to Montmarte - streets lined with little souvenir shops and eateries. I had the most delicious banana + nutella crepe here <3
Had a little scare here... There were many of these black people trying to scam us tourists and for some reason they always approached me!! Gahhh~
FO_OD~Today's dinner is the best throughout my entire holiday! The starter alone took my breath away~ Crabs, oysters, escargot and prawns!!! And we have a bottle of red wine too :D
Foie gras + more escargotBy the time my main course arrived, I was already so full! Stuffed myself silly anyways once I saw that yummy salmon steak~ So happy today T_T
He looks like Jude Law right!!Took this cute pic with 1 of their waiters. Handsome ya? Lol.
I love Paris!!

DAY 12 : DIJON - PARISThis morning's bus ride is like, the worst ever. As usual, we left the hotel early and the journey from Dijon to Paris took 4 hours!
Our 1st meal in Paris is Chinese food. Lol -___- Pretty weird if you ask me but I guess they wanted to cater to those old folks who just can't do without Chinese food.
After a quick lunch, we are off to see the Eiffel Tower!
._.vIt's really magnificent, especially when you look up at it from the foot of the tower! Took tons of pictures as our guide brought us to the 2nd floor of the tower.
The short, uniformity of the Parisian buildings...Then we were told that in Paris, there were actually restrictions on the height of buildings (cannot exceed 12 storeys). This actually means that the Eiffel Tower is illegal in a way!
Nice shot by our guide! We could have visited the famous Champs Elysees as well if not for George Bush. The entire street is cordoned off, wtf.
If all else fails, there's always shopping! Our kind guide dropped us at Galerie Lafayette where we spent our afternoon! Muahaha~
Well, I don't really have much to buy... Was aiming for LV bags only. Their store is SO SO CROWDED! As if the bags are free like that!! D:
Oh, there was this super cute sales dude there. Ahh~~ Anyway, I grabbed 2 cute bags - a monogram ecillipse and a alma in pink epi leather!! SUPREME GAYNESS! Hope they didn't lie when they said the other countries haven't got the color yet.
<3~~~After the tax deductions, the total damage was about 1,250 euros (~ 2,500 SGD). So happy!
A little disappointed in their Chanel store. The selection is so limited! Oh well, guess my 1st Chanel bag has to wait. Gucci is just blah. Maybe it's just me, not really their fan. No Prada here so too bad (was hoping to grab a fairy bag :c).
Was hoping to venture to the other malls but I'm so afraid of being mugged! Curse all those horror stories from the guide!
Well, that's pretty much it for my 1st day in Paris.

DAY 11 : ZERMATT - SWISS RIVIERA - GENEVA - DIJONWe left the peaceful & clean Zermatt and made our way to Geneva, en route to France.
Today's Friday the 13th and we were jinxed! After leaving Zermatt by train and reaching Tasch Station, we were told that the coach broke down! This delayed everything else on our itinerary. >.<
The pretty Chillon CastleWe stopped by this Chillon Castle. Nothing particularly attractive about it but I guess it looks pretty by the beautiful lake. Even saw a duck's nest at the waterside!
Sign of a developed country: you can't park for >90 mins on busy streetsAfter a suitably long drive, we finally got our asses to Geneva. Had a delicious Chinese lunch (am impressed).
Verdict: Best Chinese food so far.
My future car will look something like this. Then it's the crowded roads lined with Euro Cup flags! Saw the Jet d'Eau Fountain... it really shoots the jet of water way up into the sky! In view of the Euro Cup, they actually added a giant balloon of a football right at the top of the fountain.
One of my proudest Kodak moments. Taken from a moving vehicle no less ._.vSeems like the Euro Cup affected/influenced more than 1 of the attractions in Geneva. Even the flower clock is now done in a football design -_-
World Peace! The next coolest thing is to be able to view the United Nations Palace (from the outside of course). Then it's the giant broken chair display opposite the UN gates.
Created to urge all countries to sign the Mine Ban Treaty.Lastly, we went through a super long ride to our hotel, sadly located in some ulu industrial zone. Tonight we will sleep in Dijon, France.
Something interesting... we seem to jinx every country when we visited them:
Italy - Italians lost
Switzerland - Swiss lost
France - trashed by Holland tonight
LOL.

DAY 10 : INTERLAKEN - BERNE - ZERMATTToday, we left our very comfortable hotel and made our way to Berne, the Swiss capital.
It's pretty with loads of shopping and seems like there are a lot more beautiful people here. Everywhere we go, there are Euro Cup banners and flags! Really cool stuff!
Oranje fans!!!Coolest limo ever :DClock towerChecked out their cute clock tower and even their parliament house (where they setup giant screens for showing Euro Cup matches!)
Bear junior looks bored...Oh, and there's this pathetic little bear at this supposedly famous Barengraben Bear Pit. Can't fathom how it even became an attraction.
After Berne, it's the car-free Zermatt. The last place I'd choose to retire or simply stay because we explored the whole village/town within an hour.
The other attraction here is Mattherhorn, a mountain even higher than Jungfraujoch (which makes us all wonder why isn't it called Top of Europe instead). We only viewed it from a distance (thank god) so there's not much excitement or pain today.
My last night in Switzerland... This same time tomorrow, I'll be in France.
So what do I remember about the Swiss? Relaxed pace, extremely polite motorists, giant flies and yes, the cold cold mountains. :)

DAY 9 : INTERLAKEN - JUNGFRAUJOCHI lament the 180 francs spent on torturing myself today. $_$~
It's free and easy today and everyone's super bored with our ulu hotel so I tagged along for the tour to the top of Europe, Jungfraujoch.
Before all the horror... a happy smile from yours trulyWe need to take a train up the mountain... My 1st train ride is thus a 2 hr long freezing one.
There were like 3 or 4 stops before we reach the top and by the time we are like 3/4 up that damn mountain, I was already half frozen.
No, this is not photoshop-ed -_-Everything was just white up there. And maybe we were unlucky that the weather doesn't seem too good this morning. It was very cloudy/hazy/misty whatever outside. Could hardly see, not to forget the temperature was like -7 degrees.
-_-
Tiger time! Then we went to visit the Ice Palace where everything is carved out of ice. Feels like walking in a giant ice cube! And yes, it is VERY COLD.
Guess some of the people on the tour aren't very prepared for this extreme conditions. 1 lady looked like she's gonna pass out anytime and another auntie had minor frostbite on her nose and lips... they actually bled!!!
I had trouble breathing too and all of us just slept on the train back to town @_@
Ah well, it's snowed~ <3On the way out, snapped some real snow-sledge dogs or huskies whatever. So cute + fluffy! And they really stink!

DAY 8 : LUCERNE - INTERLAKENToday is super boring.
After breakfast, we went to Interlaken (some resort located between 2 lakes). This place is seriously for retirees, the elderly or people who are simply super laid-back.
On the way to Interlaken... a common sightThere's hardly any shopping for me and all my money went to food and delicious chocolates. Things are not cheap here. Feel so broke after my 16 franc lunch :c
Chocolate heaven...Dinner was at this Bebbis Restaurant where we had 3 types of fondue! Swiss cheese, meat fondue (kinda like our chinese steamboat) and Swiss chocolate fondue~
It could have been a lot better if everyone didn't rush through meals the way my tour group does. Bleah.
Left behind by tourists who dined here... S'poreans are stingy asses. Can't spot any SGD here -.-Headed towards our hotel for the next 2 days. It's seriously located right in the mountains. Lol. Everything is so pretty and quaint. Our room is mighty huge and we even had a balcony with a fantastic view of a snowy mountain...
Nice view from my hotel...Days are long here because it's summer. The skies only start to darken past 9pm...

DAY 7 : LUCERNE - ENGELBERT - MT TITLIS - LUCERNEIt's Climb Ice Mountain Day!
Today I really wrapped myself up like a dumpling. We're going to Mount Titlis, some really cold place 10,000 feet above sea level. I'm so excited!
1st we went to Engelberg where we took a cable car followed by a tram, followed by a revolving cable car right up to the top of the mountain.
Ah~ background's still looking green...Everything would have been perfect if not for the most disgusting bunch of Indian tourists I've ever met. Seriously, they are worse than Chinese tourists! D:
Ever wondered what it feels like to touch a cloud?Anyway... I get to play in snow! The view is just breathtaking! Seems like we're actually above the clouds. Lol.
Yep, someone actually made a statue of a Buddha right on top of the mountain! The little building had a watch shop where I was totally bored out... looking at all those similar designs and brands 10 times a day is no fun.
Then we went into a super freezing cold glacial cave thingie that almost froze my butt off. It's pretty in a creepy way and the temperature is a killer.
After Mount Titlis, we got the rest of the afternoon free! Well, we are supposed to visit the Chapel Bridge which we already explored last night. So off we go, walking around Lucerne...
Sales are good for health... yea, seriously.I kinda went crazy at the H&M store (sale items @50% off... how to resist?!) Went to both stores and came out 90 francs poorer T_T
Bought 2 black tops, 2 bags, 2 leather strappy bracelets (1 for Mr. Fireman =x), 1 polka-dot umbrella (so SATC-ish), 1 tri-color scarf and some gold/bronze hairbands! It's really worth it! My best shopping moment so far~
..............................
Evening time, everyone ran off to watch soccer! It's really cool to see loads of soccer fans from all countries running around in their national colors and flags/wigs/more flags etc.
Well, Italy lost to Holland... Hope our driver (he's Italian) won't be too emo tomorrow.

DAY 6 : VENICE - MILAN - LUCERNESo much traveling today! >.<
- 3 hrs from Venice to Milan
- 4 hrs from Milan to Lucerne (Switzerland)
Milan is a super cool place! Well, if only we have more time to explore the city...
Epitome of Goth... the Duomo del MilanoWe took a 7 euro elevator ride up the Duomo del Milano (gorgeous cathedral). Really can't imagine how they paid attention to each and every statue, column, spiral etc...
Each panel tells a story...Our guide brought us into the church. It's so huge!! And their stained glass windows are absolutely beautiful. We were told how a certain shade of red and blue are only used for Jesus and no one else in the thousands of glass panels.
Prada on your left and LV on your right = heavenThere are just so many people here in Milan! And the boutiques! :D
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuela II is the gayest mall ever! The architecture is both Roman + Renaissance and the glass/iron ceiling is a first! Everything here looks extravagant! Even Macs looks cool. Oh, did I mention that Gucci has their very own cafe here too?
We then checked out Leonardo's statue over at Piazza della Scala. Apparently his name is supposed to be only Leonardo... but he came from Vinci... so it became Leonardo da Vinci. Yea, whatever lol -.-
Soon it started to rain and we scooted off to the coach and we are on the way to Switzerland!
......................................
Our tour guide decided to be an ass and chose to play some really lousy B-grade horror movies on the coach. -.-
Nothing particularly exciting about the 4 hour ride after you get used to seeing mountains. Ok, there was this 17 km long tunnel through some mountain that we need to go through. 15 mins+ in some random dark tunnel is scary.
Before we know it, we're in Lucerne, Switzerland! Our hotel decor is done in contemporary art and for once, our hotel dinner was good! With impeccable service too!
Chapel Bridge ._.We went out to explore a bit and we discovered this 14th century old wooden Chapel Bridge. Heard it was burnt down some time back but seems like they made it good as new!
The Euro Cup has started!

DAY 5 : TUSCANY - VENICECan't remember much of today other than Venetian masks, gondolas and loads of smelly water...
The ride to Venice took up our morning. We're just in time to catch the noon boat to Venice.
So cool right?Weather is hot today! Lots of sun and little wind. For the 1st time during this holiday, I was perspiring.
The thing that struck me was the insane number of people selling masks and scary (illegal) immigrants selling imitation Prada, Gucci bags etc. Apparently, the police don't bother to catch these people... only the idiots who buy from them -.-
Had lunch at a nice little restaurant... Delicious lasagna and tiramisu :D Then we went to take our obligatory gondola ride. It wasn't as fantastic as I thought but we did see some interesting stuff.
That's some of the nice people in my tour group...Traffic jam wtf -.-We met our Venice guide at St. Mark's Square. She's one strict old lady who ends all her sentences with "Yes?"
For the 1st time in my life, I sort of witnessed a public demonstration in real life!! It's pretty funny though... apparently there are people really annoyed with the pigeons and they want them banished from the square while others are happy to have them around. They mean business too... there were like big black flags with skeleton heads being waved and stuff lol.
Er, those 4 bronze horses are actually stolen property ._.Ok, back to our tour of the square. We checked out the church and I'm totally impressed with all that bling bling! The entire ceiling is made of mosaic (famous Murano tiles with gold in them!) Can really blind people! I love the way she says "Gold is the color of divinity, not blue. Yes?"
Next, she brought us to this glass blowing factory (of the Murano glass people) to watch a master in action. I bought a cute little glass necklace here :)
We have some free time so we went mask shopping! So many pretty ones lo! Spent the most money today (so far).
Dinner was shitty Chinese food. Hardly ate. After dumping our bags, we ventured out to the neighborhood and found this very traditional Italian restaurant!
I ordered something totally alien... NUTELLA pizza!! (Italians pronounce it as nuu-tella) It's really just pizza crust + nutella only. Eat until @_@
Today is a happy day.
